Short version: your photo is measured inside your own browser and is never uploaded. There is no server on this site that receives images.

What happens to the photo you choose

• The file you pick is read by JavaScript running in your browser tab. The pixels stay in that tab.
• The page has no code path that sends the file, or anything derived from it, to another machine. The tool page loads its landmark engine once, then measures locally.
• The tool page is served with a Content-Security-Policy that restricts it to its own folder, so the browser itself refuses a connection to any other origin, whatever a script might attempt. You can check this in your browser's network panel while running the tool.
• The copy of the landmark library shipped with this site has its usage-logging switched off, so the library does not report usage anywhere.
• Nothing is stored. There is no upload queue, no bucket, no temporary copy kept on a server. Close the tab and the photo is gone from this site's world entirely.
• The CSV, JSON and PNG files the tool can produce are written by your own browser and saved straight to your downloads folder.

Advertising

This site intends to carry third-party advertising in the future. It does not carry any advertising today, and there is no ad code on any page at the time of writing.

When advertising is added, the ad network will be able to set its own cookies or read device identifiers for its own purposes, and that happens under the ad network's own policy rather than this one. This page will be updated before any ad code goes live, and it will name the network and say what it collects. To be explicit about the part that matters here: an advertiser would not receive your photo from this site, because your photo never leaves your browser in the first place.

What is collected today

Nothing is collected by this site. There is no analytics script, no tracking pixel, no advertising identifier, no account, no login, and no cookie set by any page here.

Hosting

The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. As with any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request metadata — such as the IP address, the requested URL and the user agent — in order to deliver the page and to protect the site from abuse. That is the hosting layer rather than this page, and it carries no image data. This page adds no logging of its own.

Changes to this page

If what the site actually does changes, this page changes with it, and it will say what changed rather than quietly redefining a word. The date below is the date this text last matched the site.
